Felines are usually faced with the danger of being typecast as slumbering creatures. In this case Taliban Time, features our young and normally angry hero Taliban in what can only be described as the most memorable role of his lifetime i.e sleeping or lounging precariously on top of the televison set, while his humans attempt to watch (regular/normal) cable TV. Although the viewership of Taliban Time is limited to Taliban’s humans and siblings, it has brought to light new dimensions to the feline’s ability for hogging the limelight and testing his humans’ tolerance.
Occasionally to add momentum to the show, our brave and dashing hero will dangle his tail or paw/s in front of the TV screen, trying his humans’ patience and causing them to crane their necks and shift their positions to get a clear view of whatever program they may be watching on television. One particular episode of Taliban Time showcased a precarious stunt by our hero, who invigorated by deep slumber crashed headlong onto the floor and succeeded in evoking concerned cries from his humans.
Taliban Time is aired daily 6 pm onwards, with unexpected repeat telecasts at other odd times.
